Using paths to create selections in Photoshop has many advantages – whether you are saving selections to reuse in your files or removing a subject from its background. Another advantage of using a path is that you have the ability to save a flat JPG file with a saved path, resulting in a smaller file size than a typical PSD or a TIFF file. While many would use the Pen Tool for the job of creating paths, I am going to show you how you can do the same thing using the Brush Tool.
